Some speculations claim that the movie is currently 4 hours long and director Buchi Babu Sana is putting in all efforts to bring it under 3 hours.
The team has officially denied these rumors.
The Real Status of Peddi
The production team has clarified that the film is progressing exactly as planned. Here is the actual update:
- First Half Locked: The editing for the first half is already complete and locked.
- Music & Background Score: Legendary composer A.R. Rahman is in the final stages of completing the Background Score (RR) for the first half.
- Second Half Progress: The second half is currently in its final shooting stage. To save time, the editing is happening simultaneously at a brisk pace.
Team Thrashes 4-Hour Runtime Claims
The team of Peddi confirms that everything is right on track. There is no truth to the “4-hour runtime” news, and the final edit will be a standard length suited for a commercial entertainer.
Peddi is all set for its grand worldwide release on April 30, 2026.
